Liquid CO2 pre-painting cleaning

A robotic CO2 cleaning is an environmentally friendly way to clean plastic products prior to the painting.
Plastika is the first to use liquid CO2 for pre-painting cleaning
Acquiring new manufacturing projects for Daimler has initiated new investments into technological improvements in our painting line.
Plastika is the first plastic components manufacturer to use the liquid CO2 cleaning in Czech Republic. The technology, primarily used for luxury class cars has been put into serial use in April.
Environmentally friendly process
The process does not generate any solid waste and enables a perfect removal of dust, oil traces and guarantees a perfect adhesion of coat to the plastic component.
Robotic unit
The new CO2 cleaning is located in a sound-proof cabin with a separate ventilation for removing the fluent CO2. The CO2 jet is carried by a 6-axis robot, which enables a perfect repeatability while maintaining high productivity and quality.
